Biography:
Finesse is defined as a refinement and delicacy of performance; to have artisanship, elegance, and flair. And the R&B group Finesse (FNS) is exactly that. Their music is made with such refinement and professionalism. FNS, based in their small home-town of Ypsilanti, MI, consist of 2 members JeVon Lewis (Smoove) & Jequane Roberts (Quann). Both have been singing since birth and have come together to share a common goal; Becoming the world's next successful R&B group.
They have been recording songs since 9th grade and have steadily progressed and improved since then. Recording local hits such as Deluxe, After School, and Fantasy. All songs of which they have written and produced themselves. "Our Dream is a big one, but not an uncommon one", says JeVon aka Smoove, "There are a million people in this world who want to be exactly what we want to be in life, our goal is to be unique where we are seperated from the rest."
FNS plans to continue recording, performing at shows and gigs, and promoting themselves to get them to there ultimate goal; Becoming a Succesful R&B Group. "Our Destiny has already been stated, it's in God's Plan", states Jequane aka Quann, "We are meant to do this, and all we have to do is keep our faith in God, and he will lead us in the right directions." Mischulaikah Richardson was born to Lorna Richardson and Richinel Fazalalikhan in The Hague, Netherlands, Europe on April 12th 1984. Due to unfortunate circumstances her parents separated shortly after her birth and her mother decided to move to Capelle aan den IJssel where she grew up with her two younger sisters; Roxxiomarah and Tsjaichmaidah Richardson.
Mischu Laikah was born into a musical family. Her mother had always been active with music; she played the guitar, learned how to play the piano and often sang in choirs. Her sisters are admired singers along with other members of her family. Her mother, Lorna, has been one of the biggest influences in her musical development. Lorna always felt that the knowledge of culture and social development was an important aspect in a person’s life, so at the age of three her mother enrolled her into ballet and music classes.
Mischu Laikah personally wanted to major in Ballet where she felt she could express her love for the art but that dream was taken away from her when the decision was made to leave Holland. It was around the age of twelve when her mom decided that they would leave the Netherlands and return to her mother’s birth island of St. Maarten. In 1995, St. Maarten was destroyed by hurricane Louis and this drastically changed life on the island. It created emotional and social changes in her life, where she went from having everything her heart desired, to having practically nothing.

Mischu Laikah’s recent track is ‘I Wish’ was released on Valentines Day, February 14th 2008, and has had tremendous feedback from dj’s, radio stations and event promoters around the world! It’s a reggae-influenced track, with a fresh new sound, that shows Mischu Laikah’s true colors.
